Whats up guys. I just updated from 1.1 to 1.8. Which features are on there that are new? I see the "Looper". Can someone explain what it does and what its for? Also, are there any other new features? Also, the keyboard layout underneath, when I hit a pad on the MPC and you see the key light up, is that the same sound that would play if I hit that key on my actual keyboard? Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked the latest manual (available from the 'Help' menu)? That will cover all the latest features including the looper (which will let you record and overdub live loops). Seriously, since 1.1 there's literally hundreds of new features, too many to sit here and list!

The keyboard you see at the bottom of the screen in Prog Edit is just a virtual MIDI keyboard, so yes, 'like for like' as if you had a MIDI keyboard plugged in.

He means the manual that you can access from the help menu. But I would seriously recommend his Sampling Laid Bare book. It is much more in depth than the official manual, it is really worth every cent and will help you a lot!

The only one I can find brings me to a link of multiple MPC Manuals. When I click the ren, It says url not found. I don't know if I'm in the right section but I do not see a help menu. Only where it says MPC help in the thread posts. Thats where I found the link that didnt work.
