running ren on windows 8 problems

Ey,
ive just uploaded all the discs all seems fine unlocked and everything but im getting a loud humming type noise coming out each headphone plugins and all my old samples (usb transfered from other lappy) or any sounds that come with it wont show up. im having the same problem on the other laptop any recorded samples and old beats made wont show up when im browsing it goes threw desctop or whatever to akai pro to mpc folder but nothings there?? can anyone help?

Not sure what could be the issue. Sounds like a windows problem. Can you play / hear the sounds from windows with no MPC hooked up?

What is the default audio interface in windows?

In the MPC software, have you set up your audio interface directly?

Sorry but I don't totally get the problem but I am willing to help.
