MPC Renaissance compared to NI Maschine 2 or Studio..

I have been trying to work with NI Machine in its v1 incarnation and the terrible v2 combo for years...
I thought that NI's Studio version would be better, maybe its just me but i don't get the NI way of doing stuff.
It defies logic, which is the main reason i bought the MPC.. because i was desperate for something that did the job simply.
After a few months of reading and watching vids on youtube i thought that this platform was for me, and i read some harsh critique about MPC Renaissance, about bugs and it being too basic.. blah blah blah...

Well, let me say this, Maschine way over complex..
The best music is done simply, and while i wouldn't say MPC Ren is simple, its workflow makes it appear more simple, a wolf in sheep clothing.

I can say that on the basis of the sound quality and workflow, its not only better than Maschine but it actually blows Machine clean out of the water...

Its hard to explain how different a beast it is.. without writing pages and pages about it, but if your on here you already know its the secret weapon.. right ?

It's FANTASTIC !
And sounds fantastic... i have three top quality D/A convertors. and the built in one is pretty close to my apogee.. (which is quite a compliment)
I hope this product goes on to slay Maschine, as it wipes the floor with it on all levels.
The software isn't perfect, but its getting there..

Im at this very juncture right now. Used 2kxl and 4k for many years, switched to using live as I felt it easier to load kits etc. But now I miss the worlkflow of the MPC. So im looking for a hardware controller to help organize me. I was trying to decide if I would like the Native instruments option over the MPC. But I guess your stating that I'd probably hate it. I really need things to remain as simple as possible. Im trying to have fun here too! Im NOT looking to make things MORE complicated. And I know the MPC workflow from the z series samplers to 2k to 4k.

one question is how well does it work with Ableton live? Ive seen a good video on it

But I'd like to know from someone that has worked with the Ren and Live together, Do they work well together? is it easy/comprehensive switching from writing on MPC software and using in live as plug? is it easy to get beats and stuff written in the Ren software to then quickly have that run within an ableton live project? the work together well?

I really like the Ren and Studio. For me, they make making music so simple. And I like the sound. I always make my beats with the MPC and arrange and mix the track in Ableton. Sometimes I add a sound from Ableton, but I never make my beats in Ableton anymore.

My comment on Ableton and MPC: It's a fine combination if you have your one workflow. I really like Ableton for it's simplicity. So if you take time to find your workflow, it could be great.
