Tune in Sample Edit

Is it possible to tune a sample with the q-links in Sample Edit?

not pitch shift.....

Why use q links ?
Tune is in trim mode in sample edit.

is it possible to tune a sample with the Q-Link knobs in real time?......prior to timestretching a sample?

say I wanna match the pitch of a sample with one already sequenced, but then I wanna timestretch and chop it.....

Using your mouse drag the pad with the sample onto one of the qlinks. By default it will be assigned to tune.

How do i take that back into sample edit and timestretch it?

Re-sample the tuned sample to another pad. Then try time-stretching.
