So, I have older MPC's and if I create a drum pattern and switch to another sequence, as long as the correct program is selected the pattern will play and at the same tempo. Seems on this machine I have to recreate the entire pattern and change the tempo. At least the tempo should be a default across all tracks in a program.

The other issue I'm having it that I'm used to hitting Record, Play Start and hearing all that I've played before. It would only record over things within the same track. The Renny deletes all previously played notes unless I use overdub. I'd understand that if I were recording into the same track but it's deleting things from another track that's just playing back for reference.

Has anyone else found a solution for these issues? Thanks in advance.
