Transferring mpc files from 500 to studio and vice versa

Whats up forums, I'm wondering if any body has any pointers or experience in transferring and utilizing mpc files such as, pgm, prj, and seq between compact flash based mpcs like the 500 to computer based, studio/ren. Are there any certain files that don't crossover well from the 500 to the studio or certain parameters that wont crossover at all from studio to 500? I'm mainly concerned about having a 16 pad program opened up on a 12 pad system and lose some info on the way ya kno. I love capabilities of the studio with the mpc app but I also love the freedom with my 500. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey Dvon, should all work ok, I use 2500 and mpc studio and prj, pgm and seq all open fine, things like filters and fx dont cross over properly but everything else is fine, tested prj from 1000 aswell and same.

Limit your MPC Software DRUM programs to the first 48 pads and you'll be fine opening them in the 500.
