Not bad, dustymaestro. Four posts in four minutes, no info, no help, no input.
But back to topic:
I got a Ren before I got the Studio, and I have to admit that I use the Studio more often. Only thing I dislike is that I cannot switch the Q-Links from row to column mode or vice versa when needed.
The Ren's a nice piece of hardware and really great, but much too clunky to handle en route for sketching ideas or when using it in lectures. So as of now I use the Ren at my project studio hooked up to my (rather old) hardware machine, not sporting many plug-ins due to the hardware setup available. The MPC Studio is a great buy, not as expensive, but does need an audio interface, and the one in the Ren is really good. There are many better ones available, but it sound good and gets stuff done.
I'd rather suggest getting both from an understanding retailer and send back the unit you don't want for a refund.
