Hi Everyone!
I am trying to get optimal performance out of my ren and I was wondering what the best sample rate and buffer size you are using to get optimal performance out of your machine. It has been a little slow lately. I do use a few VSTs but only one or 2 at a time and like to use high quality sampling. Does 44k Vs 96 seem to make a noticeable difference in the sound quality. I'm not sound tracking a movie or anything. What about 512 samples vs 1024? Does this make a big difference? Any other tricks for speeding up the processing power? I'm running a ren with 10.8.2 on a older Apple Mac book pro running 10.7.5. Thanks for your help!!
