Hi, all,
How can I load the samples I have installed since the DVD "expansion" ? ?

and How can I change the destination drive for installing those samples ?

Best regards

Whats the "DVD expansion"? Are you talking about the downloads in your Akai account?

1. In "main menu" go to the track section and select the plug in icon, it looks like a prong on a power lead/cable.

2. Double touch the plug in and select "The Bank".

3. Go up to pad "bank c" at least, because "bank a" is the lower octaves.

When my phone charges, ill take a pic...

with the DVD installation of the MPC software, there are two other DVD : the first : the 809 expansion, and the second : The Bank. All in the MPC box :)

what is the problem ? ? ? MPC Studio is my Christmas gift. I'm using audio softwares in my studio (Pyramix; samplitude; etc....) and I whant to install the samples in an other hard disk (SSD) than the C hard disk (SSD too)

Best regards

You can not choose where to install the expansions. if you are on a MAC you can install to the default directory and then use the symlink to move it some where else.

Symlink is available for windows but I never got it to work properly.

After you install the bank and the 809 you load it up as a plugin track. You can not just load up the raw wavs, they are protected.

Oops, you have the MPC Studio.

I would call Akai support on the installation to another drive.

He's talking about the Studio, they come with the old physical dvd's.

Silly me, I thought they somewhat fixed their installation issues. :P

Dusty put back the pic you had in the last post, it will still help him.

OK, thank you for the info. The manual is not so clear...

And with the "new version", many issues (asio and latency) I stay with 1.2.0

best regards,
