USB 3.0

I'm thinking about upgrading my Mac;

I never had any luck getting my Ren to work on my Windows 8 Dell machine w USB 3, even if I used it on the 2.0 ports ;

Is anyone running the Ren on a newer Mac with only USB 3? How's it working?

No problem with USB 3.0 on a 2012 Mac Mini - Ren, Studio and Touch all fine.

If you do have problems, try plugging a USB 2 hub into a usb 3 port and plug the MPC into that.

Same here, no problems at all. MacBook Pro Mid 2013.

Loads of problems here I'm afraid. 2014 Macbook Pro and my MPC Renaissance constantly has issues with audio glitches/distortion/latency. Lots of people have experienced this with newer macbooks using the Ren, it does appear to be an issue with the usb 3.0 ports.

I use the REN with a 2015 Macbook Pro, however I use a separate audio interface to assign my input/output. The Ren on a new Mac will audio tear your signals within minutes. Use it with a separate interface and you are all good.
