Akai and the worst software enginners on earth...

Hi and greetings from snowy Poland. I'm a angry Ren user since 1,0. I've tried to use this heavy piece of cake till 1.3 and then give up.

Now I'm motivated to give Ren with 1.9 a chance. I don't want to complain about the shittiest possible way to install the software (setup through the fancy app was giving an error, installing through plain setup worked and much much more errors...), but I want to get it work.

Now the software is 1.9.2, I have updated the also the Ren - now I want to install the sound banks I get with the Ren. After installing there is no Content folder ect - I'm sure this is because of the lack of intelligence by the programmers cause I bet they changed the folder names. I dont care whats going on with Akai but I want to use the banks

Anyone help?

The 'MPC Content' folder can be downloaded from within your akaipro.com account, as can all the Expansion packs. None of these are installed as part of the standard installer.

What OS are you using? Did you install the factory content off of the DVD disc?

Thx - I'm going to check it right now. So I don't have to install the 1.0 software with the "Content" and upgrade my a$$ of till 1.9.2?

Win10 64 of course.

Instaled 1.9.1 from Akai side - then the USB soft - then upgraded the Ren soft - then upgraded to 1.9.2. Everything without the DVD (that as far as I remember had some issues from the begining). The MPC software works (thats great cause remembering 1.0 till 1.3 thats not obvious...)

MPC-Tutor - I'm downloading the MPC Software Content now. Have you experienced any trouble installing it on a fresh 1.9.2 install? I think the main folder has changed from "Akai" to "Akai Pro" and thats why there are some errors with installing things - thats only my opinion...
