With 2.0 you can do it all in the MPC. From start to finish. THE KING IS BACK!! Akai I can't thank you enough smh... DAMN THIS WAS A GOOD DAY! For those who don't know, The elephant in the room was the need for audio tracks lol.

^^MPC 2.0 will feature audio tracks. Due out sometime in 2016. No word from Akai if it will be a paid upgrade or not. I'm assuming that they will charge us, and blame it on the cost of upgrading the look of the GUI. Lol.

Also, MPC studio 2.0.

This. You all have a lot of faith in Akai's marketing. LOL. Hope it's what is expected. And hope drag and drop is too. If it's dragging midi to a DAW track and allowing the DAW to trigger the MPC software, then the MPC software has to be multitimbral, which would address the shortcomings of plugin mode too.

But both need to be implemented correctly, else it doesn't matter what the marketing says.
