Dan Gill 2.0 sound& gear interview!!!

New FX that are in pro tools now are in 2.0
New Sound packages
Qlink edit is not worked on yet but that would give us column/row changing

It's going to be the daw of choice for a lot of us.

Just a guess, but I think the Ren 2 (or whatever it's going to be called) is gonna come out with 2.0. Possibly in the fall. Just my guess, based only on Dan's reactions to questions in this video.

- Sounds like we might get a hardware MPC. The guy reiterated that it's not a another controller, but another product. The guy also had a smirk on his face when he asked if there was going to be a new hardware MPC. It's just speculation.

For me there is no doubt a standalone MPC is coming in the future.

I am so happy that I transitioned from my Machine Studio. I may melt it down and make some fronts out of it now.

He misunderstood the plugin / drag & drop / multitimbral question, or I did. Dragging and dropping to the desktop = "drag & drop"? Arming multiple channels at once = "multitimbral"? And dragging midi to a DAW will trigger the samples in the plugin = "it should work that way"?

2.0 looks cool though.
