How do you get the pre-roll to work when recording to the plugin?

Pro Tools Count Off does not work with the plugin because no tracks are record enabled...

Wheres the count-off for the MPC?

Also, why does the plugin write cc117 to the sequence when I press stop and cc118 when I press play (on the mpc hardware transport)?
