Is it possible to record live instruments into MPC

Is it possible to record live instruments into MPC

So I'm new the the world of MPC and I currently have the choice of buying a MPC 2000xl or Renaissance. My only concern or question about these two was if I can record my live instruments in. I couldn't find anything on the Internet on how I can connect a mic and record?
