While in sample edit mode can i add effects while chopping?

Im using studio bIack with mpc softwear and i was wondering when im in sample edit mode creating chops and trimming i like playing around in sample edit mode for a while before i extract to pads/new sample. I know i can add effect after but i would like to add effect during the chopping process. Is this possible i have had no luck.

No effects in sample edit, but a rough workaround is to perform an initial rough chop, export non-destructively into a program, apply effects and then go into CHOP > PROGRAM mode and make adjustments to your chops - you'l hear the effects this way, but not ideal.
