Setting upp send effects in MPC Ren?

I know I used to be able to do this but I can't seem to do it anymore. How do I set up send effects? According to the manual I'm supposed to go via Shift + Seg Edit/Effects and then to F1 but that doesn't work at all. Pressing shift + seq edit/effects takes me to a page where I can put inserts on output 1/2 and the only F-button that does something from this screen is F5 which just mutes the selected outputs.

Any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated!

Go to program mix if you want to adjust send levels for single samples of the program or go to track mix if you want to adjust the send level for the whole program. It's both on one of the f-keys.

Then, on track mix in the upper left corner you can choose what you want to mix (programs, tracks, ...). I believe you need to go to returns. Here you can set up your send effect.
