MPC TOUCH FREEZING

Hey yall, just bought an MPC Touch and whenever I enter the sample edit mode I tend to get crashes when I adjust the threshold during cuts. My PC only has 4 gigs of RAM and a 3.07 GHz processor (never been a DAW user, used to standalone hardware). Am I just going to have to upgrade my PC or is there some other issue I'm encountering? Thanks in advance!

You shouldn't be crashing unless you dealing with very large samples. You should have at least 8 gigs of memory and if you really want wiggle room, I suggest 16 gigs. How many cores does the processor have?

Should b e plenty of power there to edit a sample lol.Maybe try re-installation of software/drivers...

4 gigs of RAM Is too low.

But try something like a "ram cleaner". To free up space.
