Recentering Sequnce Edit screen

In version 1.9.4 how do I re-center the edit screen so it is only the bars that I want active.

So I make a 16 bar loop and then decide I really only want to have it be an 8 bar loop. In the old OS I would change it to any 8 bar loop and it would hide the other 8 bars. Now it shows them but grayed out. How do I hide them again so I am only seeing the only active 8 bars? Thanks!

EDIT > SEQUENCE > DELETE BARS

That would do the trick, I don't think you can just reduce the total bars and entirely hide unused sequence data

That's how it used to function before the update. I don't know why they changed that. Some times I want to just edit the 8 bars without deleting the other 8. I didn't know if there is another view screen that I am not aware of. Thanks!
