I've been trying to load a collection of my .wav files to create program kits but it seems every file under 1 megabyte is ignored by the MPC. It will list the .wav file in the browser but will not audition or load. By the way this issue only happens with .wav files. I can convert them to AIFF or MP3s but I wanted to know if there were there any other suggestions or settings in Preferences that could fix the issue.

Whatever program you used to save the audio file in the first place might have saved it as a non-standard wav file.

I had a similar problem a few years back when I was saving samples in Cool Edit. I was saving them all as wav files but under 'save as file type' I had the wrong wav type selected and they weren't always compatible.
