Mpc touch enhancement

You know what would be cool. If they added hard buttons to the MPC touch instead of the soft rubber ones thats currently on the unit. I think that will make it 30 to 40% better.

I dont see that making an improvement of 40%; u may be just stuck in the old mpc era and u cant let go, cos hows could u ascribe such a high percentage improvement based off dat?

I would love to see screen improvement. It would be nice to be able to use the screen as a touch interface for your computer and programs. Maybe even sensitivity calibration.

Most Hardware units have hard buttons. we are in the times of speed and short attention span. Why would you want to Fumble around with soft buttons when you can press a hard buttons Fast and persistent. Rubber slows you down. Plus with hard plastic you hear a confirmation Clickety click sound that let you know for sure you press the button to make it activate what you're trying to do.

aint no fumbling the mpc studio hs soft buttons but u still get the click feedback, but still that alone should not constitute a 40% improvement, as its so minor

IMO the soft buttons do lack the satisfying positivity, plus if you don't hit the buttons dead centre sometimes they don't register (on the Touch at least), they are quite wobbly and don't trigger the tact switch underneath. I've used two different Touch units and both have this issue. This can be an issue when working quickly.

I reckon hard buttons would give a 27.3% improvement, maybe even 27.4%

See I thought I was the only one that noticed that problem. I even hit up mpc stuff to get some custom plastic buttons. They said nope. maybe one day soon.
