When chopping a long sample I like to EXTRACT. When naming samples I like to change the sample name into something both smaller in length and also to something that make sense. So, I'll edit toward something like "Taday1". Then, so that I continue EXTRACTing and naming quickly I'll select all to store the chosen in computer memory (command + A) and get back to work.
When I'm ready to name the next sample I hit Command + V and the software goes into this weird process which is different from the expected pasting of previous sample name. The process doesn't save the extracted portion and nothing of subsequence seems to happen. Huh?
Then, I thought to paste my saved name into another program (i.e.. Safari) and the pasted text reads: dfdsA
Now, my question becomes whats does "dfdsA" mean?
