Recording guitar through MPC touch and Boss ME-25

So, first things first, I am a moron with this stuff. It's a learning experience. I have a 30W Line 6 Spider IV amp, a Boss ME-25 guitar multi-effects pedal, and an MPC Touch. I cannot on earth figure out the proper set up to run my guitar, with the pedal effects from the ME-25, through the Touch so I can add it to a sequence. I can't get the guitar to register on the Touch, which lets me know I'm doing something wrong on the setup end. Please help an idiot out, thank you.

Output from the amp or pedal to the audio input on the touch. Then you can record in via sample record. You Will need to adjust sample length via qlink or you'll only get 20seconds per recording.
