Simoultaeneously play keyboard with synth and drums with mpc

Hey guys,
I´m new at the forum!

I wanted to know whether it´s possible to play my keyboard (USB) and the drums at the mpc at the same time (?)

Sat here with a friend when he played the keyboard and it would be nice if there´s a possibility to play drums live with him while he´s playing...

Sorry if there was a post like that before but I didn´t find it with the search function...

Hi, this is not possible.

You can choose a keygroup/drum track and trigger the events via the MIDI-keyboard, but it is not possible to access another track than the actual one (Like Track 05 via pads and Trak 11 via keyboard).
This request went to Akai a lot, and as I heard the MPC software version 2.x will be able to do that. IMO we can expect this feature around NAMM...

If your using it as a plugin you can. I have multiple tracks in Ableton and a track for the MPC software.
