Mpc-Touch Latency issue

Major latency issues with this Touch wtf? I've changed the buffer the size already and it hasn't helped. I did some looking around in this area and wasn't able to find a solution. Im running a 2015 mac book with Yosemite.

Seen some suggestions about using a daw to combat the latency. Does this actually work? I have to buy another unit to deal with this?

Also someone said it maybe because of the usb 3 port and maybe use a usb port might fix it?

Ill give that a try but Im wondering if anyone has been successful with this problem.

What kind of latency are you talking about?

I have a 2015 iMac retina with 32 gigs and a 7200 rpm hard drive running Yosemite. It works great on there.

I have a 2008 MacBook Pro with 4 gigs of ram and 7200 rpm hard drive running El Capitan. I have a few tracks that make it choke, but the rest is fine.

You should update to the newest OS on the Touch. There is a Apple laptop that has known USB issues, you might want to check if you have that model.

I recall some USB3-related issues being discussed on this forum.
If you think it's that, try a USB2 hub.
