Importing Midi into MPC

Hi Guys!

I am trying to import midi information from logic into mpc. I export midi notes from logic into a .mid file and drag it into the software and it asks me what track to import it to and I select and empty midi track and press ok but when I look at it there are no midi notes??

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Its a standard midi file...

Hopefully 2.0 will include midi fx so I don't have to do this anymore.

Maybe this is the answer....have to try it. I've never needed to do this til yesterday.
