izotope gives plug ins for free regularly it seems... ones that aren't free all the time.

well in that case i withdraw my suggestion (izotope) because while they occasionally offer paid plug ins that they sell for free (not a trial version, but the full version if you download them while the offer stands) I don't know if they work with the akai software... (no fault laid on izotope though, if they don't work... that is probably on akai).

Dude I think Tutor is referring more to cracked plugins instead of legitimate deals done by the manufacturer! And also most plugins are gonna work with the Akai software. They are just VST/AU plugins. Nothing special. The Korg Legacy Collection that haven't been updated since 2013 works fine in it.
