These are nice covers. A friend of mine got one with his Roland TB-3. They look real sharp, and they're as sturdy as you demonstrated. I don't know what's braver... placing your MPC 2000XL on top of it or the fact you're still using Zip drives in 2016.
But anyway, cheers on the review. These covers would actually look nice on a 2000 and 2000XL. I'm not sure if the top dimensions are the same between the two. But if they are, I'm sure they would sell. I know I'd rather look at the beauty of the machine than a piece of cloth fabric any day. I wonder how much of a demand we can drum up in the forums, and whether this company would consider it after seeing a significant demand here.

Thanks for checking out the review. I asked them about whether other MPCs might be supported in the future, and they said they would consider it if they got enough requests.

And yeah, one day I'll sort out a CF drive for the XL, but in all honesty I only use it to make legacy versions of my sample packs so I can live with using the zip drive for that.

Maybe it'll be a good idea to create a poll to see how many people would be interested here. I figure there's plenty of 2000/XL, 1000, and 500 users out there to show an interest. Hopefully more people log in this time of year to see the poll.

I guess you're better off leaving the zip drive in your XL since it's only being assigned to light duty. You're better off buying a dust cover instead. You'll need it for when the MPC Live hits the market.
