good evening all!
so i have setup my mpc touch as master and my machinedrum as slave. i notice that the machinedrum does not loop properly. When i go to the tempo menu of the machinedrum, i can see that the tempo is varying by up +-2bpm!
now i tried to set them up the other way around, mpc as slave and MD as master. only problem is that the mpc software aparently does not accept MMC through the midiport!
now my questions:
1) do you think this is my computers fault?
i have a lenovo e540, 8gb ram, intel i5 2.5ghz. running mpc 1.9.6
2) would an external dedicated midi clock solve this issue? But as the mpc does not accept mmc i will always have the challenge of hitting two play button at the exact same time
3) would a dedicated midi interface give a more stable clock?
4)has anyone else had this issue and found a solution to it?
thanks for all the input
