Hi,
It may be a very simple problem, but I can't seem to find the answer.
I created an MPC program with different tones of a bass guitar and I would like to control it with a MIDI keyboard.
I linked the keyboard's MIDI OUT to my sound interface's MIDI IN and the IN to the OUT.
In the MIDI Preferences, the active MIDI input is my interface's MIDI plug 1 and MIDI mapping it says MIDI OUT PORT A --> interface plug 1 (this i'm not sure that it should be so).
In the SYNC section, I send and receive a MIDI Clock to my interface's port 1 (MTC Rate Frame : 30 drop).
The problem is as follows :
When i hit keys on the keyboard, they do not follow each other to play the program.
For example the keyboard's F2 key triggers PAD A16, G2 triggers PAD A13, C2 triggers PAD A09 and PAD A04 is triggered by the keyboard's H4 sharp (#H4) key.
I would like it to play normally so that i can play my bass program with the keyboard.
Is there anything special to do ?
If I choose that my track is MIDI and not DRUM, as I understood it allows me to record the keyboard's sounds onto the MPC project, correct ?
Thanks a lot if you have any answers,
I hope that I've been explicit enough,
YOUL.
