Xpand!2 doesn't need Ilock. Its install and go..!!
I know it says so right before purchase but after your purchase you won't need it.

For a dollar, it's straight silly to pass... :?

Regarding not needing iLok... This is actually incorrect, you still need an iLok account, but not a physical iLok dongle as you are simply able to activate it to your computer directly.

Once installed, when you scan the plugin into your DAW or MPC, you'll trigger the activator for the plugin. At this point it'll ask for your iLok login/password, then it'll option you to activate on your computer or iLok dongle.

Curious, there isn't a way to get this to show up in the Expansion Browser alongside Hybrid 3 is there?

That's what I've said a few posts back. Expand 2 isn't the only plugin you can get for $1, I also bought Sonivox Orchestral Companion Strings for $1 (iLok is needed).
