Which laptop to use with MPC Touch

Hi guys I'm relatively new to the MPC world. I purchased a MPC touch and will like to move on to purchasing a laptop in order to get up and running. I currently own a Surface Pro 3 but this "laptop" seems very limited in both capability and space to run the Touch. What do you guys suggest to purchase as far as laptops go to hook up the MPC Touch, I would prefer Windows. Thanks.

I also use a surface pro 3. no problems here joe
i5 processor, 8 gigs of ram, 250 gigs of storage capacity.
With this I use an external HD to install all vst's and vsti's and also
for storing all of my projects.

If your buying a laptop.... get a macbook pro. You will never ask this question or anything like it again.

Whilst this is true, if Zangetsu has got it working on the same as you go for it! Sounds like there are a few workarounds required due to the screen size from what I've seen so check out the other threads about it.
