Adding insert effects on programs from MPC Touch

Another newbie question, how do you add insert effects to your programs from the MPC Touch?
I'm able to add different effects on different pads when using a Drum-type program under "program edit", but when I want to add inserts to Plugins I'm only getting the plugin-specific parametres under "program edit" and no way to choose effects.

Am I at the wrong page or what am I missing?

I'm looking at the "channel mixer"-page but i'm not sure if that's the right place?

You can do it in channel mixer but you can also do it at the main screen.

In the mixer choose programs and than go to inserts or at the main screen tap the little arrow at the top left and it will unfold a few icons. one is master the other is programs and there is also pads.

choose program and select the pencil icon to the left to choose your inserts. I'm not in front of my Touch right now but it should be something like that.
