Can't find any mention of this anywhere but seems like should be a staple feature on the new MPCs? All Elektron boxes do it, Push2 does it, Volca Sample, Novation circuit etc etc.
I just saw that you can use pads instead if the touchscreen to program/select steps in Step Sequencer mode, so in theory it should be pretty straight forward to implement? Hold a pad/step and navigate on screen to the fx/parameter you want to tweak for the step. Job done:)
Be killer if Akai add this + Scenes (sets of fx parameters etc) , option for multiple fx parameters per q-knob and x/y pad, step probability (trig conditions on Elektrons), more lfo destinations (fx parameters etc), and a song arrangement view! Hyped for Live as it is, Pre-ordered, but adding the above would take it over the edge
