MPC REN not booting

Hello everyone i have an issue I'm dealing with can anyone help? After my recent update my mic doesn't load it only shows 4 lights pad 1 red, pad 2and 3 green, pad 4 yellow. my blue screen is blank with no mic or anything on it. I've unplugged both power cord and usb cable and still the same issue. can anyone help?

It sounds like the rear digital pcb got bricked during the process.

Now what is going to happen is, when you call Akai, they're going to tell you that you need to pay $250 to replace it, and offer no guarantee that it'll resolve your issue.

mine wouldnt boot and they blamed it on the PCB...

forked out to get it fixed and bought a load of surge protectors.....

my buddy told me to reinstall previous software versions and that fixed it. AKAI needs better customer service

If the Ren shows nothing on the screen, even when the usb is not plugged in and running off of power (Vegas mode) - It means there it is bricked.

When you plug the usb into it, does the computer detect it?
