Need assistance with mpc touch software please. thanks....

Hello, and thank you all for your time and efforts regarding this issue. I just purchased an AKAI MPC TOUCH only a few hours ago only to discover the following prompt; (MPC.exe - System Error) The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-time-I1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling to fix this problem. I then click the "Ok" button as it and the close the prompt screen button are the only two options I have to choose from. It then, displays a system tray icon prompt bubble in my windows 8.1 64 - bit operating system that of which states; can't load protection component, OS error 0x7e.... any legitimate help is appreciated. 1. Run windows update. If that does not work go to step two.

2. Repair or Update Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable package

Might want to try running as an administrator for the computer too
