Replacing PCB board MPC touch.

My Touch only lights up the pads white & nothing else. Only one person I saw with this problem online said Akai fixed it by replacing the main PCB & updating the firmware. Akai won't respond to my emails.

mpcstuff has the PCB Board for $199. I'd still be way under even used price total.

Has anyone done this PCB swap? I can't find any how-tos. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

personally, i would not sink 200 bucks into a piece oof equipment that you cn get for 300 bucks. I would give akai a CALL, they are much more helpful when you et someone on the line, they might be willing to fix it for free if you are nice with the words.
