Would be nice if the MPC studio's tap tempo worked to contro

If setting up MPC studio transport control in logic pro x wasn't hard enough, how come the logic pro x project tempo can't be controlled by the MPC studios tap tempo?

I tried tapping out the bpm, turning with the data knob.. but it doesn't do anything...would be so fresh if it did..

Can it?
