You press the red gear icon and you choose delete post.
Did you change the device to MPC Ren driver ?

Edit: you can't delete after some period of time , only edit the post

I adjusted the sample rate to 44100

but the only option I have available is "5.8/256 samples"? and the latency won't change either?

Also, the sound is still very weird and scratchy

i can post a video of it if you want

This config seems right. Do you still have issues?

Check first if windows use the device on system settings . If they do ,first change the windows audio device to the onboard device (edit both output and recording), then launch MPC Software
Edit: It may worth a try to change both usb cable and port on your PC

This an updated video of my MPC Ren operating (after tips)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXO_sELzf4E

I going, to be honest with you,
I already spent over $800 on this MPC Ren. I purchased it in April through Amazon so I cant get my money back.
And I haven't been able to make music with it. I would like someone's honest opinion.

Does my MPC Ren still have hope? or should I just invest in a new one?

Did you try other usb cable and port ?
The fact that buffer setting is stacked at 256 samples is not good sign. Double check that windows don't use that device for generic audio. If you click at the "Show Device Control Panel" can you make adjustments there?

I would also like to know if I need a new audio interface or soundcard?
By dryad-66 Wed Dec 16, 2020 4:33 pm
Prolly get a new interface.maybe something like Focusrite Scarlett at least second generation which has very good latency/quality for the price.$100.But there is many more.Anther one is Audient ID14 With more IO and better sound.Use the REN as a controller.

This is a screenshot of my control panel.

I will buy the USB and the Port.
Would you mind specifying what type of USB and Port I need?

"I am not the best with technology"

By "Port" I mean plug the MPC to another usb port on your PC. If it's a desktop avoid plugging it to the front usb ports .
Can you post the specs of your PC and windows version?
Before buying a new interface ,try your MPC to another computer .
If it works ok then you'll need to find someone with computer tech skills to help you.

Make sure you have the latest firmware version

Edit: I saw your photo uploaded

in the device panel go to the ASIO tab and on "system performance" choose "Relaxed"
You'll get a noticeable delay between hitting a pad and getting a sound ,but it shouldn't give you any audio glitches
