Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

I'm thinking of a way to work with MPC Touch & MPK in the same time.

Both work with separate software, so i guess the only way would be to hook up MPK directly into the MPC - which I doubt is possible (no dedicated ports).

Is there a way?

Regards.

Just hook up the MPK to your computer via USB. It will control the MPC Software immediately, no config necessary, but you can go to Preferences >MIDI to apply more granular control and also configure individual MIDI tracks to be assigned to a particular controller (the MPC pads remain a global controller). I pretty much have this set up permanently at my studio, so I can play instruments with the MPK keys, and use the MPC Touch for most other tasks.

Have you tried this or are you just planning ahead?
