I recently picked up an MPC Studio Black, and am trying to use it as a midi hardware controller.
As a simple test, I plugged the USB into my laptop, ran the MPC software and plugged the midi port on the back of the studio to my MicroKORG.

Nothing.

It works like a charm as a controller surface. I just can't seem to get anything to come out of the jack.

I double-checked my set up by swapping out the Studio with my MPD226, and it works fine. Swapped back to the Studio, and still nothing.

All the tutorials I can find simply says to connect it in this way, set it to a midi track, and the midi will be sent through the jack. I checked the midi config in the MPC software, and it seems fine. Is there some hidden setting I'm missing?

Thanks.
