Hello,

I've got two small questions, to wchich i couldn't find a precise answer to, maybe someone may help me out :

I'm planing on buying a second hand MPC STUDIO BLACK, its a pretty decent controller.
Besides with the MPC-Software I plan to use it on Windows with ableton and on linux with some other DAW.

I would like to know, maybe some proud owner would be willing to check ;)
- is the MPC Studio Black accessible on Windows in other DAWs WITHOUT keeping the MPC-Software running?
(so as a pure midi-controller, pads, knobs, q-llinks - evidently no display)

- Do you know if it would be equally accessible on Linux with standart-midi drivers?

thanks a lot!!

Answers: no and no. I'd definitely avoid buying a Studio Black since many users have reported problems, especially on newer OS versions. Maybe read up on the forum about this, both questiosn have been answered already.
