New to MPC world.
I'm considering buying an MPC Studio Black for what seems like a good price used, but wondering if / why I need to buy the MPC Studio Standard software that's over 200$.
Why can't I just use MPC Beats, which is free?
I'm currently using Logic Pro X and want to make some beats for my songs.
I've also looked at MPD218 and don't fully understand the difference between the MPD218 and the MPC Studio Black. My basic understanding is that MPD218 doesn't use Standalone software like Studio does.
Ideally I'd just like to finger play beats on pads and have that recorded into Logic or a similar workflow.
I'm new to this forum as well, so not sure which is the best subforum to place this question about MPC Studio Black, MPC studio vs MPD218, and integration with Logic Pro X?
