Edited Samples

I recently got a new PC and had to re-install the MPC software.

Let’s say I assign a sample to a pad and I adjust the start point of the sample.

When I play the pad that has the sample on it, it still plays the sample as if it were not edited.

I have to drag a different sample to that pad and then drag the sample that I edited to the pad in order to hear the sample after I edited it.

This was not the case on my old PC.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

In preferences you can set the default pad settings to be PAD or ALL. All will reflect the start and points you set in sample edit, pad will ignore any changes you make in sample edit
