MPC Studio Silver + iPad?

I think im going fkn crazy.... Does anyone know how to get the MPC Studio Silver to show up as a midi device on any iPad? Trying to use it/midi map it in iMPC Pro 2

It‘s trivial: install the Studio on a PC/Mac.
Only then connect it‘s Midi in/out to the iPad (or rather the iPad’s Midi interface)
Otherwise the Studio will remain a brick
(there is no way it will communicate with an iPad, unless you completely hack it‘s firmware)
