Unlike its predecessor you can’t normally load a vst directly from the device. But if you save the track or even a preset and store these files in a folder on there own you can browse them from the hardware and instantly load a vst. You can also edit the saved file for some that maybe a quicker way of creating the files.

With that being said...I think this is a workaround I figured...

So say you have MIDI PATTERNS YOU WANT TO UPLOAD INTO 1 SEQUENCE.

WELL EVERY TIME YOU TRY TO ADD IT MAKES YOU PUT THEM ON TO A NEW SEQUENCE.

WHAT TO DO IS . .. SEND TO SEQUENCE (2)
GO TO SEQUENCE(2) AMD COPY EVENTS.

SEND ALL TO SEQUENCE (1) .

The best way to do that is to convert the midi files to a pattern using the FREE online Convertor , that way they load into the existing sequence. You can save the link and it works offline too . The link was posted here by tutor but he removed it for some reason.

Here it is

http://www.fentonia.com/catnip/midianmpc/index.html

String the midi files together into one long track, convert to a pattern, load it into the present sequence, and isolate or loop the bar or bars that you want.

? Why would I remove a link to useful free software? The link only midi converter link I removed was to a paid app that doesn’t actually work

Don’t know , but I definitely linked straight to the free utility from here, and I can’t see it now. Unless there was a link to another post.
So the paid app that charged £10 for a lite version that did the same as the free version, or £30 plus for the “PRO” version . Doesn’t work ? Why, what’s up with it?

I don't know about what you may have posted, but there's countless posts linking to that app, including a few made by myself, e.g.

viewtopic.php?p=1837039#p1837039
viewtopic.php?p=1833855#p1833855
viewtopic.php?p=1866368#p1866368

And I've always liked to it from my resources page on mpc-tutor.com:

https://www.mpc-tutor.com/akai-mpc-resources-downloads/

I'm very happy to link to free resources like this!

We're not talking about the same app, the one I'm referring to was/is $5, now abandonware. I refuse to link to it as it simply doesn't appear to work and the developer was dismissive of my bug reports.
