It's about integration. Like a modular system without cables. I can see that happen with future models.

Seriously though this new MPK61 looks the business and I can honestly see myself selling my 2K classic and Novation SL61 and getting it. Plus I could get rid of my Presonus Firestudio as I wouldn't really need the 8 ins to take my MPC 8 outs and go for an apogee duet.
Don't get me wrong I love my MPC but all this just makes too much sense. I've got Logic and Guru anyway too.

I should have held out for the MPK61. More keys, more pads. I rarely use the pads on my MPK49 just because there is only 12 of 'em.
Total waste of my money.
