Small image but I don't know what to do about that. I'd like to share with you guys a little piece of software I wrote (Windows only....apologies Mac guys).

This application has two functions:
1. Outputting MIDI from your computer keyboard
2. Transforming MIDI from your pad controller.
How to use MIDIKeys:
Send MIDI from your computer keyboard by turning on CAPS Lock, when CAPS Lock is off the computer keyboard sends text as normally.
Set the MIDI Input/Output ports by right clicking the tray icon, opening the 'MidiSet' dialog, selecting your ports and clicking Reload.
An Explanation of the Controls:
Chromatic mode sends notes sequentially, Example: the Z key sends 36, the X key sends 37 and so on.
Scale mode sends notes out in line with a root note and scale, Example: C Major scale, the Z key sends 36, the X key sends 38 and so on.
When inputting MIDI, the notes corresponding to 'C' will always send the root (24, 36 etc)
MIDI Channel controls the MIDI output channel
Key - - - >MIDI displays if the computer keyboard is outputting MIDI
Root/Scale values determine how notes are transformed
Chord control will output a chord from computer keyboard and/or MIDI Input.
Note/Vel displays show the last output note and its velocity.
A16 Level and/or B16 Level will show if the 16 Levels banks are engaged
Keyboard Commands:
F1: Keyboard Velocity -
F2: Keyboard Velocity +
F3: 16 Levels Keyboard Bank A (Hold F3 and press key to set, press F3 to turn off)
F4: 16 Levels Keyboard Bank B (Hold F4 and press key to set, press F4 to turn off)
F9: Decrease set Root Note
F10: Increase set Root Note
F11: Decrease set Scale
F12: Increase set Scale
Esc: All notes off
Up/Down arrows: Octave +/-
Left/Right arrows: Transpose 1 +/-
Shift/Spacebar: Sustain
