Problem with LPD8 cc controllers

Hi,
I have an LPD8 and am trying to use it with Massive in standalone mode. I initially got the parameters on Massive to respond to the cc controllers using 'midi learn' but now I can't get any of them to respond. I must have altered something but I can't think what.
Any ideas what I may be missing here?

Unless you saved a file with those learned assigns in your DAW if it was Massive as a VST/AU they won't be there the next time you use massive. Do the assigns first, save a song file then do your music and save under a new song file name. Next time load the template you made again.

In standalone mode you can do the learns and then go to Massive options/MIDI tab/Current setup/MyDefualtCC you can save and load the assigns from there. Not sure if these ones will also be in the VST when hosted in a DAW but there's a good chance they might.

Thanks for the reply. No I didn't expect the settings to remain in Massive when I opened it again. In the first place I opened Massive and the LPD8, clicked on learn on one of the knobs, twisted the controller on the LPD8 and it responded perfectly.
Now I can't even get that response although the pads trigger the sounds ok.
