AKAI MPKmini + Fl Studio -Problem: All Pads on the same Sampler (Kick)

Hello Forum :)

at first - I'm 21 and get around on computers really well. Usually. Like this time too - i tried searching to find the solution myself. But now after about 7 hours i'm turning >:-L

My setup:
-PC Win 7 64
-Akai MPK Mini
-Fl Studio 10+11

Anyway - let me explain my problem:

Fl Studio 11: The DrumPads on my Akai MPK Mini only trigger the first sampler (Kick) in different heights, but not the second (clap), third (hat) and neither the snare and so on...

While in Fl Studio 10 it works propperly without changing anything. But the reason i use Fl Studio 11 is that in 10 i can Map the FPC (it will not work. None of the x different solutions worked, while in FL Studio 11 it worked withour a problem.)

I think i already heard something about that in some youtube video - but i can't remember or find it. And slowly i'm running out of different ways to google.

Can you help me? O.O

kick is selected, so kick will play.... use the fpc, and drag the kick, clap, hat, crash, etc.. into the fpc or else it will play the kick at different pitches instead the way you are doing it now.

and fl 10 and fl 11 both do it the same way... there is no difference between the fpc in 10 and 11 when it comes to mapping it to the controller.

in that video he doesn't show how to set it up really... he is showing how to load a template... which actually on the mpk software it shows what things could be set up as to make it work. notice how the pads are set to midi channel 1, and the knobs and keys are set to channel 2.

now in fl there is an omni mode which allows you to use up to 16 different controllers at once... or in this case, one controller making use of several midi channels.

what you can actually do which would work better than me explaining it here.. go to the help menu in fl studio, choose "contents" and then type in "midi" in the search box.. double click on the category "midi setup" and scroll down to midi input.

there will be pictures showing what you are looking at and a description on what midi CC each instrument in the pattern window is set to.

they are all set to different notes so that way you wont have one pad triggering every sound when you turn on omni mode.

as for the fpc... you do not load generators into the fpc. You can however open your drum sounds or other sounds into it.... each pad can take a different sound.
